"Murmuring Twilight" is the second song released by Cincinnati based metal band Ascended Master. The song will be featured on a demo EP set to release in early 2020. The track features Cody Knarr (Ex-Unkured & Ex-Faithxtractor) on Guitar, Bass & Vocals. The demo release will feature programmed drums to expedite the already lengthy production.
Live drums will be featured in coming live shows as well as the first album release.

This song follows a human well versed in the occult. He is able to seemingly communicate with the cosmos itself. The human is disgusted with the current state of the planet earth and weeps for the unnatural death that slowly grasps it. His one wish is for earth to die the same as it was born - naturally. With this endeavor in mind he travels through many planes of existence. Once finding the proper powers to grant his wish he trades his own life to use these powers. Instead of dying however, he is cursed to live forever. Past the expiration of earth and existence itself.

Whispers from the Murmuring Twilight

Subterranean passage to the glowing tomb
Within it the beacon of truth

And communicate with the weavers of time

Summoning deities, awaiting their call
The hidden the truth within the stars

Suns they set
Worlds implode
Chaos reigns
Releasing death unknown

Reciting the texts of cosmic blasphemy
Hear the whispers of the ageless ones

Dwelling in the realm of forbidden knowledge
Dissecting the fabric of reality
I came to save the fate of earth
These questions will be answered

The punishment for me, is immortality

Aeons they the pass
frigid and airless
Conquering kingdoms of flesh
Hollow as they crumble away

Floating in a vacuum of isolation
Existing past the point of universal extinction
Immortality a curse beyond measure
Earth saved, but long since forgotten
